Badugi is a draw poker game.
Four cards are dealt per person.
This game is played in triple draw, that is to say that players can exchange cards three times, zero to four cards, from their hands. It is played limit or pot limit.
The goal is to have a combination of the lowest cards possible, but no card of the same value or the same color. Example: A♥ 3♣ 4♠ 7♦ = Badugi at 7. The best hand is A 2 3 4 offsuit.
If tied, no four unpaired cards, the one with the three lowest cards that are not of the same color wins or two cards if there are not three cards (rare) and even rarer one card.
If two people have the same number of unpaired cards, the cards are compared in descending sequence.
Example 6 5 4 7 is better than 7 2 A which itself wins against 7 4 3 that wins against 7 5 A.
