Craps is a game of money that comes from the United States. It is played with two dice, usually in casinos.
You have to roll two six-sided dice. All two opposite faces of each of the two dice should always be equal to 7: 1 and 6, 2 and 5, 3 and 4. The dots are printed on the dice, they are not written, unlike traditional dice.
For craps, there are four dealers:
a table chief who controls the flow of the game,
a first dealer that helps players to place bets
a second dealer that pays the winning bets and collect losing bets,
and finally the stickman. This is the one who directs the game, picks up the dice with the stick to give the rolling player. He announced the winning run.
either the total points of the dice,
either specific figures (craps, hards ways, 11, 7)
The sum of the faces of the dice that are 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 are called “points.”
Craps: refers to a total which there is only one way to get it: (2 = 1 + 1), (3 = 1 + 2), (12 = 6 + 6)
Hard Ways: are doubles (2 + 2), (3 + 3), (4 + 4), (5 + 5), except double 1 and 6 which are craps
Pass (11): can be obtained only in one way: 6 + 5 = 5 + 6
Natural (7): is the total that can be obtained the greatest number of times in different ways: (4 + 3), (2 + 5), (6 + 1), but also (3 + 4), (5 + 2) and (6 + 1), or a chance of six from total.
Goal of the game
The pitcher must first roll the dice. Before the first roll, the point is off. So you win with 7 or 11 and lose with 2, 3 or 12. By getting a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, the point will be placed on this figure. It must therefore repeat this figure by 7 to win. The pitcher stops to launch after obtaining his point ahead of 7 only. However, when the point is on, you can bet on other numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10), your bet will be withdrawn only if the pitcher throws a 7 when the point is on (commonly called Seven out). If the point is off and pitcher throws a 7, you will not lose your bets on the numbers.
