Windows developer team just released a not scheduled update, with several new characteristics. The build 14997 is optional, and it is not proved to be a stable update.
The upgrade includes a new setting to pause the downloads. The pause remains active for 35 days if the download is not started again. This way, it is possible to schedule the upgrades for Windows without affecting the functionality of the active apps. But Windows 10 atill lack an option to limit the bandwidth.
Another new option is a game mode. There is a new library called ”gamemode.dll” giving priority to the games to the detriment of other services.
And a funny detail, the blue screen will be … green for the pre-versions of the OS.
