Rotary members are business leaders, of community and all professions, which are committed to humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards and help build mutual understanding and world peace.
Leaders who encourage high ethical standards – this was the idea that led to the organization of Rotary Business Forum Romania (Forumul Oamenilor de Afaceri din Rotary – FOAR), 2014, which took place in Bucharest, Intercontinental Hotel, November 14-15, 2014.
During the Forum were discussed current issues of the business environment in Romania, and were made concrete proposals, achievable, which is a starting point to a life and an activity based on ethical principles. Each Rotarian presented his own vocation, becoming acquainted with other Rotarians in its field. MultiMedia offered his services and experience to Rotarians friends.
At the Forum was attended Wargha Enayati – founder and president of Regina Maria Private Health Network, Septimiu Postelnicu – Executive Vice President of UniCredit Tiriac Bank SA, Steven van Groningen – Chairman of Raiffeisen Bank Romania, Silviu Hotăran – “education entrepreneur”, Managing Director of GKTI Semper Human, and other personalities from the Romanian business world.
There have been debates about ethics in Rotary and in several fields of interest, presentations of companies, activities and services, together with Prof. Dr. Andrei Muresan, Director of the Centre for Research in Applied Ethics, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, Raed Arafat, Secretary of State for Health, Marioara Arhip, Judge at the Court of Appeal, Victor Alistar from Transparency International Romania, and other specialists.
